Roots to grow, fruit to flourish

Our Curriculum

Our children will blossom through experiencing a knowledge-rich curriculum which is both broad and balanced and fosters a love of learning, enabling all children to make connections.

We have chosen to follow the National Curriculum and the breadth of our curriculum ensures that there are no limits to learning and our pupils are encouraged to embrace every learning opportunity that is presented to them.

Our curriculum is the beating heart of our academies and is rooted in John 10:10

"I came that they might have life and live it to the full."

Our children will flourish through experiencing a knowledge-rich curriculum which is both broad and balanced and fosters a love of learning, enabling all children to make connections and be well prepared for the next stage of their education.

Curriculum Principles

At the Learning Academy Partnership, our curriculum is implemented with our curriculum Intent at the heart of all we do,

`Learning can be defined as an alteration in long-term memory. If nothing has altered in long-term memory, nothing has been learned. In order to develop understanding, pupils connect new knowledge with existing knowledge.’ (Ofsted)

Our curriculum design is based on evidence from principles of learning, on-going assessment and organisation and cognitive research
