Sue Davies – (SEND & Safeguarding Lead) Torquay Hub Local Ethos Governance Committee

I am honoured to have been asked to join the The Local Ethos and Governance Torquay Committee with a specific role of safeguarding and SEND. 

Until 6 years ago I was a deputy headteacher of a large primary school with a wide range of responsibilities which included safeguarding and SEND. I worked closely with the governing body and welcomed their involvement in school life especially when I was acting headteacher.

As a committee member I want to be actively involved in school to enable me to support staff and to have a good knowledge of the day to day running of the schools.
