Reverend John Beckett – Co Chair Torquay Hub Local Ethos Governance Committee

I’ve been Rector of St Matthias Church in Wellswood, Torquay for 4 years.  Known to staff and pupils as ‘Reverend John’

I am married to Ruth, have two grown up boys, and I was previously a vet for 13 years.

Now, with 14 years experience of primary governance,  I really enjoy working alongside the staff to help our academy communities grow into the ‘life to the full’ that Jesus invites us into.
