Being Happy Staying Safe

In our academy family, we want all children to be happy and safe.

At Warberry, we safeguard our children by being reflective and believing in their right to be treated with the same care and dignity in and outside of school. Our vigilant safeguarding culture ensures that all staff assume that abuse is happening, and it is everyone’s responsibility to monitor, identify and then act. We are the frontline for ensuring that children and members of their family can access the support they need. Our school’s curriculum aims to prepare children for the future but is also prepared for the unexpected.

To our children:

Every day, in every way, we’re here to help you stay safe.

Safeguarding our children is our number one priority and empowering children to stay safe is an important part of our curriculum for the children. We empower children to understand how to keep themselves safe. We teach children to understand that their body belongs to them and how to tell an adult if they are worried or upset about something.

“My daughter looks forward to going to school. She enjoys learning and playing in a happy safe environment”
