If your child is due to start primary school in September 2025. The application window for you to apply for your chosen primary school is from 1st November 2024 until 15th January 2025.

Information about admissions to a primary school can be found in the TIPS 8 Booklet. This can be found on the Torbay Council website.

Applying online (preferred method)

The easiest and quickest way for you to apply is online at www.torbay.gov.uk.

You will need to create an account and choose up to 3 primary schools which should be listed in order of preference. If you apply online you will be notified of the outcome of your application by email on 16th April 2025,

Second round applications

The second round of applications closes on 10th May 2025 for those who missed the earlier deadline.  Please be advised to get your applications submitted before 15th January to ensure you have the best chance of your child attending your choice of school.
