Attendance Celebration Breakfast

At the beginning of the Spring term, children in the Hawthorn class came into school at 8:00am for their attendance celebration breakfast as they had the highest attendance in the school for the previous half term. The children were able to bring their parents and siblings to share a breakfast with them. The Hawthorn class averaged 99% for their attendance over the half term leading up to Christmas which is absolutely incredible! Attendance is a key priority for us this year as our attendance in the last academic year was slightly below the Torbay, Trust and primary school national average. Last term, our whole school attendance was 95.5% which is a huge increase (the national average for primary schools was 95.1%). We would like to continue to work with you to ensure our attendance remains above average throughout the rest of the year and are always aiming for a minimum of 96%.
